The Staraya Russa resort is the oldest resort in Russia and this says a lot. The presence of unique, non-reproducible medicinal waters and mud anywhere in the world makes it the only one for many sufferers. There is simply no such second one. Compared to my previous visit 15 years ago, the living conditions have been significantly improved. The rooms have become modern and comfortable! Thanks to the staff of the canteen and catering. The choice of food offered is great, everything is of high quality and varied, although I personally prefer the "old" way of catering - pre-set tables and portioned meals served by waitresses. The buffet system implies more choice, but there is too much hustle and bustle. It is noticeable that it is simply difficult for some elderly people to carry food to the table on their own. And a neatly laid table, forks and spoons laid out in advance, snacks arranged - this is also an element of stylishness, unlike the Brownian running around of patients with plates and glasses... But that's just my point of view. Accommodation is comfortable. Although you need to understand that there are always people who have a negative "in their head" and who love to find and emphasize inconveniences in life, presenting them as almost a conspiracy of the administration against patients... Well, them... During the two weeks of my stay, I singled out only one significant general drawback, which may seem insignificant at first: sofas in the halls of water and mud baths! Where patients are waiting in line for procedures... They look decent, leather, presentable, but they are old and frankly prosizhennye (failing) As a result, patients with arthrosis and osteochondrosis fall into them, as into pits, from where it is very difficult to get out and get up, and sitting in such a "pose" it is almost impossible to bend and change shoes... I remember these sofas 15 years ago. Of course, they fell into disrepair for such a period, although, thanks to the wear resistance of the skin, it is not noticeable externally. But falling - falling into such a "trap" you understand right away... Perhaps it is worth replacing them with more modern and physiological furniture, which now has many different styles and materials... Or, at least, to tighten and make more seats more dense... In general, the impressions of living and treatment are the best!

You won't regret it!We arrived at the "exploration" in the early days of 2018, and stayed for another two weeks... The energy of this place, in our opinion, is very positive, the soul is resting and singing...you can treat and pamper the body.People who organize everything around, try very hard, a feeling of caring home warmth and magical healing...Decent food, very decent rooms and service. Of course, everything costs money, but money is for us, not us for them. Next for the administration of this wonderful resort.We hope that our gratitude will be taken into account when distributing awards and other incentives. - We really want to thank specific people, they work with a soul, it was nice to meet them: all the girls from the booking department (patient, polite) at the reception Olga (Corp.2) and Ksenia (hydrotherapy), Alexander Evseev (a very responsible security worker), the 1st corps of all administrators and separately Svetlana Nikolaevna Ermakova, the maid Terentyeva Olga Dmitrievna.It was nice to receive from kind hands therapeutic procedures in the mud baths from Svetlana (mud applications) and Kirilova Svetlana (mud on the gums) Elena (transair); in the hydrotherapy from Natalia Nikolaevna (ascending shower), Margarita Filippovna Nefedieva (pearl baths) and Elena (room 103-107), Ivanova Tatiana (room 405).It was also nice to talk with the tactful, polite and caring nurses Selivonets Alexandra and Ekaterina. Just returned with my mother from Staraya Russa, we were 3 times. I want to express my gratitude to the whole team, everyone is wonderfully friendly and sincere, happy to every client, as if they were waiting for you to visit. I would like to note a good trend for improvement, everything has become better - nutrition, more procedures, now they are doing tests and ECG. New drinking gallery, sports ground, everything is super. And special thanks to the designers for the approach with a soul everywhere in the design, the drinking gallery and dining rooms, everything creates comfort. A new chef, bravo, super tasty, not a sanatorium, but a 5 hotel! Incredibly delicious, there are no words. Get better and better! Thanks to Doctor Marina Rodina, and all the staff of the hospitals!!!
