Mud treatment at the AMAKS "Staraya Russa" resort


Staraya Russa is the oldest therapeutic balneological resort, which is famous for its healing mud and mineral waters. Their composition is unique and has no analogues in the whole world. The therapeutic mud "Starorusskie" originates in the lakes located on the territory of the resort "Staraya Russa", which gives them the power of nature.
They belong to sulfide-silt and contain a high concentration of substances in the composition: biologically active bromine, boric acid and organic substances.
The mineral composition of such mud is the richest in comparison with other types, they have their own name in a special classification and are reference, having no world analogues in their class.
