Treatment of chronic pancreatitis in the sanatorium Staraya Russa

  • Complications after gastric surgery (non-healing postoperative scar, fistulas, adductor loop syndrome, the so-called vicious circle, dumping and hypoglycemic syndromes of severe degree, gastric stump atony, peptic ulcer of the small intestine in the exacerbation phase with a tendency to bleeding and penetration into neighboring organs, exacerbation of chronic postoperative gastritis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, hepatitis, severe form of post-vagotomy diarrhea).
  • Enterocolitis with severe malnutrition (exhaustion).
  • Chronic dysentery, nonspecific ulcerative colitis, chronic colitis with extensive ulcerative or erosive process in the rectum or sigmoid colon, detected during rectoromanoscopy or colonoscopy, as well as bleeding hemorrhoids, polyps or polyposis of the intestine.
  • Cholelithiasis, accompanied by attacks of hepatic colic.
  • Residual effects of viral hepatitis (Botkin's disease) with signs of increased activity of the process (the presence of pain, dyspeptic, asthenic syndromes) and significant deviations in liver functional tests, including the level of tissue enzymes in the blood.
  • ALT-AST; chronic active (progressive) hepatitis of any etiology.
  • Cirrhosis of the liver.
  • All forms of jaundice.
  • Severe forms of pancreatitis. Violation of the patency of the pancreatic duct.

Treatment results

Pancreatitis is treated effectively in the sanatorium. Inflammation of the pancreas is relieved with the help of medications and normalization of nutrition. By discharge, the pancreas is functioning as before.

Consequences of lack of treatment

There is a whole list of complications of this disease. The most frequent are cholestasis, reactive hepatitis, cysts, infectious inflammatory consequences, cancer.
