DMV therapy is a therapeutic technique based on the use of electromagnetic waves in the decimeter range. The procedure is performed in the patient's lying or sitting position. The duration of exposure to microwaves is 4-15 minutes for a certain area of the body. The total duration of the procedure does not exceed 30-35 minutes. The course of treatment is 3-16 procedures, daily or every other day. Therapy has a positive effect on the circulatory system and increases the overall activity of the body.
Indications for use
The procedure is effective in the treatment of subacute and chronic inflammatory diseases; diseases of the cardiovascular system; injuries and diseases of the joints and spine; acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, middle ear, tonsils and oral cavity, dental diseases; diseases of the nervous system; inflammatory diseases of the skin and its appendages; hematomas; peptic ulcer stomach and duodenum, long-term non-healing wounds.
Contraindications
Therapy is contraindicated in acute inflammatory purulent processes; pregnancy; swelling of tissues and the presence of foreign bodies in the affected area; resting angina, paroxysmal cardiac arrhythmias; epilepsy, peptic ulcer with complicated course, bleeding.
