Local barotherapy (active hyperemia pressure chamber) is a treatment method based on cyclic alternation of vacuum and excess phases of internal air pressure in a special closed flask where the damaged limb is placed. The procedure is designed to restore peripheral blood circulation in the extremities.
A consistent change in pressure in a closed space around the patient's limb restores arterial, venous and lymphatic circulation in the vessels. There is a kind of vascular massage. The duration of the procedure is 20 minutes, the course of 14-20 procedures.

Indications for use

The procedure is effective in the treatment of obstructive lesions of the arteries of the extremities; functional disorders of the arteries of the extremities; disorders of venous and lymphatic circulation; disorders of the trophic tissues of the extremities of various etiologies; congenital tendency to vascular spasm; post-traumatic conditions. It is also used in preventive and restorative treatment.

Contraindications

Therapy is contraindicated in thrombophlebitis, varicose veins of the lower extremities.
