Ultra High frequency therapy (UHF therapy)

UHF therapy is a method of electrotherapy based on the effect on the patient's body mainly of an ultra-high–frequency electromagnetic field. Wooden furniture is used for the therapy. During the procedure, the patient is in a sitting or lying position. The duration of UHF therapy is 10-15 minutes. The course of treatment includes 5-15 procedures, daily or every other day. The therapy has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects on various parts of the patient's body.

Indications for use

The procedure is effective in the treatment of various acute and chronic inflammatory processes of internal organs; dystrophic processes; diseases of the musculoskeletal system; ear, throat, nose; peripheral nervous system; female genital area.

Contraindications

Therapy is contraindicated for malignant neoplasms; blood diseases; cardiovascular insufficiency; pregnancy; hypotonic disease; presence of metal implants in the body (pacemakers, prostheses); pancreatic diseases; diabetic retinopathy; individual intolerance; lack of blood circulation; predisposition to bleeding; acute heart attack and stroke; feverish conditions in infectious diseases.
