In early March, we celebrated the birthday of the AMAKS City Hotel in Yoshkar-Ola.
By the standards of the chain, this is one of our smallest facilities, and meanwhile it has long been the largest hotel complex in the Republic of Mari El.
Back in 1962, the hotel opened its doors to the first guests. At that time, it was called "Tourist", however, like many other hotels of that time. The building housed a hotel, a tour desk, a restaurant, and a sauna.
In 2012, the hotel joined the AMAKS chain. At that time it was a young Russian hotel chain gaining momentum, now it is one of the largest national hotel and sanatorium chains.
AMAKS City Hotel Yoshkar-Ola is on the way to a global renovation! Over the past year, the facade of the hotel has been renovated, the restaurant of the hall has been completely renovated – now guests can comfortably sit in cozy upholstered chairs, have a leisurely dinner or breakfast.
There are still many, many interesting projects, grateful guests and bright events ahead of our beautiful hotel!
