Aromatic baths are the effect on the patient's body of fresh water with aromatic substances dissolved in it (sage, lavender, anti–rheumatic collection). The procedure promotes a local increase in tissue temperature and increased blood flow in muscles and internal organs, as a result of which metabolic processes in the body accelerate, cholesterol concentration decreases.
The procedure is effective in the treatment of hypertension stage I-II, vascular diseases; itchy dermatoses; chronic female diseases; neuroses; asthenoneurotic syndrome; chronic fatigue syndrome; diseases of the musculoskeletal system; diseases of the peripheral nervous system.
The procedure is contraindicated in stable angina pectoris of functional class III; cardiac arrhythmias of the type of atrial fibrillation, frequent ventricular extrasystole; atrioventricular blockade; heart failure above stage II A; arterial hypertension of stage III; acute inflammatory phenomena; oncological diseases; chronic glomerulonephritis; recurrent thrombophlebitis; epilepsy with frequent seizures; thyrotoxicosis; mycoses; hypersensitivity to bath components.
